I had such a good time. I was a lil skeptical going in at first bc they have people enticing you to come in but I couldn't resist the band. The band that was there on 1/25/22 was amazing. They had me dancing and I have forgotten all about everything that was on my mind.

Awesome music and good service. Had good time. No pushy bar tenders or arrogant bouncers. The crowd was also good. Restrooms were also clean. **they charge convenience fee on the credit card usage. **most drinks are priced around $14

I had a great time good vibes and great music. There wasn’t a cover charge. I came in on an R&B night. Drinks here were a bit more than other places I had went to throughout the night.

The bands instagram@GumboFunk _504. We were brought in after hearing amazing live R&B from across a street in bourbon street (maybe 1-2 am). You can really enjoy music here and vibe. Really ended the night beautifully here.

Great spot right on the corner with a very attentive staff and one of the best bands I’ve seen in a long time. The HOZ Effect blew my mind.

Funky 544 was a great surprise! No cover charge to get in—just a one-drink minimum, which is more than fair. The vibe was super chill and the live R&B band was fantastic. It’s one of the few spots on Bourbon Street where you can actually catch some solid R&B, which I really appreciated. Definitely a cool place to hang out if you’re looking for good music and a laid-back crowd. I’ll be back for sure!

Since the ownership has changed this place is such a vibe! It’s nice to see a place that is clean and beautiful 🤩 on bourbon street! The bathrooms are worth a visit. 🥂

We came early at around 9:00 so it was empty. But that didn’t drop the music and the performers though. Funkiest gig on Bourbon Street! By far. No cover charge, you just need to get a drink and that includes a Coke. Friendly enough service.

Great times on Bourbon St. The bartenders were busting their butts. No cover charge and the band was good. “The HOZ Effect” has an app to request songs and tip. Great idea but the app charges an extra $2.50 so I tipped cash.

Truly nice 👍. Great place for rock! Good music and good selection of local beers on tap. The Hoz Effect did Hendrix, Eagles, Wild cherry, The Doors, Steve Perry, etc.
